Blue Orange: Vienna
Blue Orange: Vienna
Bagels, bagels, bagels. One of the things I miss most about living in the United States is bagels. One of the most underrated forms of bread in my opinion, and I truly took it for granted when they were so easy to find. I don’t know why they’re so difficult to locate on this side of the pond (seriously Europe, you’re missing out!). So the rare times I find a good bagel it is a glorious occasion!
AMBIANCE:
Blue Orange is a cute little cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. It can fill up pretty quickly due to limited seating however so it’s important to get there early or go on a weekday. It’s a very casual place and great for a breakfast, brunch or coffee date.
SERVICE:
The staff is friendly and unless they’re full, they tend to be relatively quick with bringing out the orders. They speak English and are happy to help.
TASTE:
French bagel: this was my favorite bagel. The flavor combination is astonishingly terrific. The cream cheese, goat cheese, pears, walnuts and honey (€7.20)
American bagel: one of the more traditional style bagels, comes with cream cheese, egg, bacon and cheese (€6.90)
Smoothie: They have good smoothies and occasionally have new flavors (€4.50)
