COVID has made 2020 a difficult year to say the least. I know in the scheme of things missing going out to restaurants is a minor inconvenience however the food industry has taken a big hit. So we have continued to order in or pick up food when we can to help keep some semblance of normality for us along with supporting the local businesses. Recently we tried Zing burger after seeing it many times around the city.
DECOR:
Everything was closed off for us so these photos are from their site to show what it would look like during normal hours.
SERVICE:
The people taking the pick up orders were kind and worked quickly to give us our food. Considering there are no dine in options at the moment I would expect this type of food to be quick but still a reasonable wait when dining in.
TASTE:
Jalapeño poppers: these come in a set of 4 and I wish they had more! They were delicious, with a Chile Mayo flavor to the cream cheese filling. (€3.30)
Guitar hero burger: ORGASMIC. Is the word that followed my first bite of this heavenly double cheddar bacon cheese patties with chili Mayo and bbq sauce . It was juicy, tender melt in your mouth. (€6)
Smokey BBQ burger: ^ my partner ordered this and had almost the exact same response as me. (€4.5)
Fries: the fries were quite good, not as fantastic as the rest of the meal. They were thicker and very soft. Paired well with the honey mustard dips.
*they had MANY other items I wanted to try: philly cheese steaks, chicken burgers, grilled cheese , etc
