Trivida: Klagenfurt

My partners sister always introduces me to some of the best vegan restaurants and this was definitely a highlight. She came to visit us in Klagenfurt and suggested we try Trivida out and I am so happy we did.

DECOR:

The decor is very cute, simple and clean. I would say it has some mid modern century decor, lots of wood and plants. The garden was very cute with benches and small wrought iron table chair sets.

AMBIANCE:

We really wanted to sit out back in the open air garden patio but sadly it was full, so we opted for a bench table right inside from the garden. It was very bright and cheerful.

SERVICE at Trivida:

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. The food came out relatively quickly as well.

TASTE:

Cheesy jalapeño nachos: I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty the jalapeño cheese sauce was. I expected pieces of jalapeño but they mix it right into the sauce. The three of us split it and still was a good portion. The Pico de gallo was very fresh.

Gluten free Mac and cheese: AMAZING. I usually think vegan cheese is just okay, but the cheese sauce in the Mac and cheese was outstanding! It was so thick and flavorful. The portion size was quite small but it still filled me up. The penne noodles were think and cooked perfectly, not too soft.
