The Box Donut: Budapest

I saw The Box Donut from across the street on our way to breakfast and said I wanted to stop by on the way home. It has been a very long time since I’ve had any proper donuts (they aren’t a common thing in Vienna) and I decided that while on vacation I deserved a little treat! Plus the square shape of the donut intrigued me, sadly yes i’m that simple to entertain.

DECOR:

There isn’t much to say about the decor, it’s an average cafe with lots of windows, some tables and bench seats and a big counter full of dozens and dozens of donuts! It’s almost Halloween so they had some decorations, Halloween themed boxes and donuts. We took ours to go so we didn’t spend much time in the shop itself.

SERVICE: it was extremely quick, we simply went up to the counter and told her we would like an assortment of 6 donuts and she immediately packed them all into a box for us.
