Wasabi: Budapest

Running sushi bars are one of those places I don’t go often but when I do I really enjoy them. We really wanted to find an all you can eat place and Wasabi popped up as one of the top places.

DECOR:

The decor is as expected for an Asian restaurant equipped with bamboo plants, golden statues and mural walls. There are tables for dining next to the running sushi bar, tables for you to order form a menu as well as small private rooms which I thought looked perfect for an intimate dinner party.

SERVICE at Wasabi:

The staff was friendly and explained how the place worked and were quick to being our drinks.

TASTE:

Rice: the Brazilian rice came with lots of peppers 7/10

Sushi: The green sushi was amazing and the others were also very tasty 9/10

Noodles: too many onions, there’s a spicy version as well but both were half onions and i’m not a fan of onions 6/10

Sour chicken: this was extremely good, the sauce was delicious and the chicken was tender 9/10

Crispy chicken with peanut sauce: the sauce gave it a unique flavor 8/10

Black jalapeño cheesy bites: WOW. Just wow. It looks like a burnt charcoal but when you bite it, pure heaven. 10/10

Vanilla coconut balls: these were very tasty, perfect ratio of flavors 9/10

Cheesecake: it was a pretty ordinary cheesecake 7/10

*all you can eat for around €23

Total: 8/10
