ShoutOut Arizona: Article Interview

Today more and more people are choosing alternatives paths in life. This is a direct contrast the normal workforce that so many are accustomed to. People are now becoming freelancers, entrepreneurs and working in more creative fields. This shift is a direct result of the improvements in technology and the mindset of the younger generations. This generation who refuse to simply follow the status quo because that’s what we’re told to do. We want more for our lives. We don’t want to wait until retirement to finally have the freedom to live the way WE want to. This is something that ShoutOut Arizona has not only recognized, but has decided to celebrate and encourage.

I was approached from the editorial staff of ShoutOut Arizona when they were focusing on finding inspiring entrepreneurs and creatives. They asked if I’d be willing to share my story. I simply explain my journey from where I started to where I am now. As someone who knows how difficult it can be to take that leap and leave the “secure” path that I had created for myself in the form of a 10 year plan, I was happy to join the conversation.
