Chimichangas: Budapest
Chimichangas: Budapest
With the lockdowns still going, I was thankful to be in Budapest where it is a bit less strict than in Austria right now. You are still able to pick up food from restaurants which was wonderful when we stumbled across this Mexican-American kitchen downtown. Chimichangas was a breath of fresh air.
DECOR:
I loved the decor in this place. It was one of those “over the top” themed type of decorations styles that I fully embraced. They had piñata‘s, and the walls were converted in animated images that resembled a “Día de los Muertos“ style.
SERVICE:
The staff was very friendly. We ordered at the counter, and they gave us a buzzer to let us know when our food was ready to take. It was relatively quick but we were the only ones there when we first arrived.
TASTE:
Flautas: you get a set of 3 with a choice of various meats, I choose chicken and they were good. My partner thought they were extremely tasty.
Jalapeño poppers: these were outstanding. I am so glad I chose the 6 piece instead of the 3. They were so creamy on the inside and crunchy on the outside(2490 ft)
