Activities in Disneyland Paris:
We went on my actual birthday in November and immediately the magic started with some rain. Don’t worry, rain can’t ruin the magic of Disneyland if you don’t let it! We started chatting with some of the staff and they asked what the occasion was so I explained it was my birthday and they gave me the tip that you can get a free birthday button and a phone call from the mouse himself! In order to avoid the rain we went into one of the treat shops and got Mickey Mouse ear cookies.
By the time we finished eating the rain had stopped and it was time to watch the parade! It is very cool if you can get a front view standing spot by the street. After we ventured into Sleeping Beauty’s castle before heading to the Alice in Wonderland maze. Wonderland is one of my favorite books and it was a lot of fun to see the characters throughout the maze.

Best Time to visit:
Choosing the right time to visit can make all the difference in your experience at the happiest place on earth. From avoiding crowds to enjoying optimal weather conditions, timing is key to maximizing your enjoyment of this magical destination. In this guide, we’ll explore the factors that influence the best time to visit Disneyland Paris, helping you plan the perfect getaway.
Off-Peak Seasons: To avoid the crowds and long lines, consider visiting Disneyland Paris during off-peak seasons. Typically, the park experiences lower attendance levels during weekdays outside of school holidays and major events. Plan your visit during these quieter periods for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Shoulder Seasons: Shoulder seasons, such as spring and autumn, offer a balance between crowds and weather conditions. During these times, you can enjoy milder temperatures and fewer crowds compared to peak summer and winter seasons. Plus, you’ll have the chance to experience special events and seasonal festivities, such as the Halloween and Christmas celebrations.
Weather Considerations: The weather can greatly impact your experience at Disneyland Paris. While summer months may offer warmer temperatures and longer days, they also tend to be the busiest times at the park. Alternatively, visiting during the cooler months of spring and autumn allows you to enjoy comfortable weather without the crowds.
Special Events and Festivals: Keep an eye out for special events and festivals happening at Disneyland Paris throughout the year. From character meet-and-greets to themed parades and fireworks shows, these events add an extra layer of magic to your visit. Plan your trip around these special occasions for an unforgettable experience. The fact my birthday is right on the point where the park switches from Halloween to Christmas themed was a little sad as we didn’t get to experience either really.
School Holidays: Be mindful of school holidays and vacation periods, as these times tend to attract larger crowds to the park. If possible, try to plan your visit during off-peak times or consider visiting mid-week to avoid the busiest days.
In conclusion, the best time to visit Disneyland Paris depends on your preferences for crowds, weather, and special events. By considering these factors and planning your trip accordingly, you can ensure a magical and memorable experience at the happiest place on earth.
The rest of the trip we spent in the actual city of Paris and while the weather was rainy off and on I think we did a good job of making the most of our time there. If you want to truly have enough time to see the highlights of the city then I recommend staying at least 3-4 days. You can check our Paris review here:

We surprised our teen and adult girls with a trip to Disneyland Paris and had a blast. It is perfect for “kids” of all ages!
Yes!! It was for my 25th birthday and I loved it. I want to cross them all off my list one day so I need to hit 3 more 🙂
Nice guide! I’ve been looking to visit Paris Disneyland for a while already. I think visiting off season is a good idea with less crowds
Yeah, I would actually love to go back in Spring but I am worried about the crowds too !
Looks like you had a fab birthday! November is lovely as you can get the Christmas decos too. Would you like to trade guest posts about Disneyland Paris sometime? x
We sadly were just in between the Halloween and Christmas so we didn’t get either – I was so sad !!! Currently I don’t accept guest post, I want my site to be 100% written by myself and mown experiences, but I do accept link swaps (Paris currently has 1 I believe and is not large enough for a second -YET ). But open to others if you’re interested.
