Hadik: Budapest
Hadik: Budapest
I went to Hadik with a group of girlfriends who are also hockey wives to my partners teammates here in Budapest. One of them recommended we go here and we decided to go on the way to one of the games. The menu was full of things I would love to try so I definitely will want to go back and try more things!
DECOR in Hadik:
I loved the look of this restaurant. It has a modern industrial rustic decor. We sat in the front room but there is also a large room further back. The exposed brick with Edison bulbs, iron staircases are beautiful.
AMBIANCE:
I enjoyed this place a lot. It gives a classy but still relaxed vibe. There’s different rooms with interesting decor and depending where you sit you might have some different vibes. One of the most interesting features is the automobile hanging from the ceiling.
SERVICE in Hadik:
The staff was polite and spoke English with our group. They have English menus as well.
TASTE:
Risotto with shrimp: this was very tasty! The risotto was cooked well with a delicious pumpkin seed oil sauce. Presentation was pretty but the lettuce seemed wasted (€6.5)
Fries: my friend ordered and I tried a few and was very impressed. Soft on inside, crunchy on outside . Folded like a V shape.
Hummus Plate: Another friend ordered the hummus with veggies and Pia bread. She really enjoyed it.
Carrot cake: another friend ordered this and didn’t finish it so she gave me the rest of hers. It was very good, the top was an icing and the center is a cream cheese frosting.
Overall we enjoyed our visit to Hadik and would love to visit again and try some new menu options. Total: 8.5/10
