Le Burger: Vienna
Le Burger : Vienna
With the corona lockdown still in full swing here in Vienna, restaurants won’t be open for at least another month sadly, however there is still take out available which helps to break up the monotony of the quarantine home cooking. We decided to break up the monotony and grab some grub from Le Burger.
DECOR:
Mid century modern but with a more industrial essence. I really enjoy the decor here and the plants give it a very nice touch. They have a food elevator that is fun to watch take meals up to the top floor. There’s plenty of seating and you can have a quieter experience if you choose to sit up top.
SERVICE:
The staff was extremely friendly. They were patient while we ordered and were quite quick to get our food prepared. They also offered us unlimited gratis dipping sauces on our way out. The only downside was their card reader was not working so it was cash only. However, normally they accept card so this shouldn’t be a problem.
TASTE:
Hot spicy burger: the burger was flavorful for sure. It comes with cheddar cheese, fried onions, jalapeños and a chili Mayo sauce. It was almost a little over powering in flavor. The ratios were properly proportioned though and the meat was juicy.
Fries: they have a very large portion of fries and they were quite tasty. They were soft but not overly soft where they became soggy.
Mac and cheese: this is the most interesting as it comes in two “deep fried” Mac and cheese pockets . We had no clue this was how it was served so we were surprised but they were delicious.
